Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about this tool.

3MF (3D Manufacturing Format) is a file format developed by Microsoft for 3D printing. It contains comprehensive information about 3D models including geometry, materials, textures, and manufacturing instructions.
GLB is the binary version of glTF, optimized for web use and real-time rendering. Converting 3MF to GLB makes your 3D models web-ready, smaller in size, and compatible with web browsers, AR/VR applications, and game engines.
Our converter supports geometry, materials, and textures from 3MF files. Some advanced 3MF features like manufacturing instructions may not be preserved in the GLB output, as GLB is optimized for visualization rather than manufacturing.
Currently, our tool processes files individually. However, you can convert multiple files one after another. We're working on batch processing features for future updates.
Simply click 'Select File' or drag and drop your file into the upload area. The conversion will start automatically and you'll be able to download the converted file once it's complete.
You can upload files up to 100MB in size. For most 3D models, this is more than sufficient. If you need to process larger files, please contact us for assistance.
Our conversion tools are designed to preserve quality as much as possible. However, some formats may have different capabilities. We use industry-standard algorithms to ensure minimal quality loss during conversion.
Processing time depends on file size and complexity. Most files are converted within 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Larger or more complex models may take longer.
Yes! This tool is completely free to use with no hidden fees, subscriptions, or limitations. You can convert as many files as you need without any cost.
Absolutely. We take privacy seriously. Your uploaded files are processed securely and automatically deleted from our servers after conversion. We never store or share your files.
